// Hopelessly Optimistic//

For those of you who read my posts(Aka one of three friends of mine who actually decided to follow me and read them) and know me in real life, You know that I am extremely optimistic about 60% of the time(This counts that percent when I’m in a bad mood or talking about finding work. FREAKING JOBS!). I try to see the good in things and look at a problem from a different angle. Though, not a lot of people do this(That I have noticed). Many people are more then happy to complain about a problem then do anything to fix it. This is a real shame. Seeing as if these people put even half the energy they spend in complaining and applied it to fixing the problem the world would be much better off.

Too many people are hopelessly pessimistic. Its the popular thing to do. And I don’t do things that are popular. If I did, I would have some other art for my profile, talk about controversial topics and be telling every one that they are stupid and explain how horrible the human race is. The problem with that though, is it would be a lie on my part. I don’t believe much of that and I have no intention of trampling over some one else’s beliefs. I wish simply to enlighten people and help them expand on their beliefs. Part of this has to do with my own belief that humanity is, for the most part, a positive entity in this universe. We just haven’t quite got there yet.

I’ve seen some of the best and worst of what humanity has to offer. And more often then not I see the best shine through all the grime we like to display. We are still growing as a species. We are still trying to find our place in the universe. We don’t know what our destiny holds for us or what waits us out there. We are still young and don’t fully understand our own impact on this world.

We have great potential. Don’t give up on humanity because of a few rotten apples. This is the main thing I want to express to every one in the world. Humanity isn’t evil. We aren’t some force of destruction. We aren’t a virus. We are Infantile. I know calling us infantile sounds like I’m mocking the progress of humanity. However, despite all our achievements, we really haven’t gotten that far just yet. We are still rather narrow sighted and stuck on a few things that seem important in the moment. Things that we fight tooth and nail to keep the same or change. Things that a alien species or a god would see as trivial. And things we fought over just a few years ago we look at now as something that should have always been in place. So yes! Describing humanity as infantile is the right description. This description isn’t a bad thing though. We are still growing. We are still young.

Eventually, humanity will mature. We will get our heads out of the clouds and away from silly things and learn what it truly means to be sentient. We will eventually understand our place and appreciate the universe around us and the people we share a planet with. I am Optimistic because I know we wont stop asking questions. We wont stop feeling for each other. We wont stop because we want to be perfect. Our seemingly hopeless dreams is what makes me smile for our future.

I Know we will become greater then ourselves because that is what we want. Its the goal we never stop trying to achieve. So I will continue to be An optimist. Despite all you naysayers.
